JCI George Town’s annual Installation and Awards Ceremony is a important milestone as it resembles the transition between two leadership bodies while celebrating the significant checkpoints for the previous year.
JCI George Town
JCI George Town being a relatively new local chapter in Penang was built on the shoulders of the giants. For this year’s installation and awards ceremony, we wanted to take this opportunity to showcase the strength of this local chapter.
Livestream
The livestream is presented through a series of pre-recorded events that follows a tentative agenda in accordance to protocols required by the organisation. With the flexibility of pre-recording, we can ensure minimal room for error.
Production
We wanted to showcase the streets and ambience of George Town so we took a day exploring the alleys and gathered pictures of buildings, signs and objects that emboids the city. From there, together with Mood Design Studio, we built the scenes required for the different sections of agenda. In the meantime, camera work took place in filming the contents needed.
Post-production
With all resources in place, post-production took place swiftly to meet the scheduled event date. In general, we took the pieces together, layered them, animated them and sequenced them. After long hours of effort and a few cups of coffee, we managed to successfully pull off the event which garners positive impression among the audience.
